Hello, SeaWolves families!

I’m a hockey mom, community advocate, and honored to serve as your President of the Mississippi Junior SeaWolves Hockey League. We’re incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to play ice hockey here on the Gulf Coast, especially since it isn’t a typical sport in our area. When I discovered this league four years ago, I knew I wanted my boys to be part of it and quickly saw what a special community it could be.

I’m passionate about growing youth hockey and creating a welcoming, affordable, and engaging experience for our players and families. I believe in open communication, family involvement, and creating memorable experiences both on and off the ice. I look forward to working with our SeaWolves community to make this a great season and build a strong future for youth hockey in Mississippi.

A lifelong Mississippi Gulf Coast resident with deep New England roots, Chris grew up with a love for hockey and fond memories of cheering on the Mississippi Sea Wolves. Long before stepping behind the bench, Chris spent plenty of time playing street hockey and developed an appreciation for the game that has stayed with him throughout his life.  

Chris’s involvement in youth hockey took on a new meaning when his son began playing in 2023. After experiencing the sport as a hockey parent, he decided to get involved on the coaching side and began coaching with the Junior Seawolves in 2024.

Chris especially enjoys working with young players, helping them develop their hockey skills, build confidence, and grow their love for the game.

This year will be my first year serving as secretary for the Seawolves. I am eager to be a part of the league in this capacity and to have the opportunity to serve the community. My son first fell in love with hockey when we took him to a Blues game and wanted to play, not because of the ice skating, but because of the fighting. Luckily, the Jr. Seawolves has only taught my son to skate and not fight. I look forward to being your secretary this year and am excited to grow our team! 

Matt was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and grew up mostly with street and roller hockey. After helping as an assistant coach for two years, he was the head coach of the 10U Jr Seawolves in 2025-2026. This year, he serves as the head coach of the 12U team and coaching director. Matt's focus is on all players having fun and developing skills that will prepare them to be lifelong hockey players. He now lives in Hattiesburg, MS.

I'm excited to combine my professional marketing experience with my passion for youth hockey. My son is entering his fourth year with the SeaWolves, and it's been incredible to watch the program grow each season. As a real estate professional, I've built my career on creative marketing, branding, and community outreach, and I'm excited to use those skills to help grow the Jr. SeaWolves, attract new families, and continue building a strong hockey community on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
