Growing up in Southwestern Ontario, a few hours from Toronto, and the center of the hockey universe; I am a diehard Leafs fan. I have played organized and rec hockey since the age of nine learning to skate on the family pond on the farm. After graduating college in 2001 focusing on robotics, I proceeded to travel the US, Europe and Africa for the next 7 years until I landed on the Gulf coast. I now live in Hancock County with my wife and numerous children, with the youngest two playing hockey in Biloxi for the past 3 seasons. My family and I enjoy spending time on our farm where we raise rabbits, chickens and goats, as well as going camping when time allows; always make an effort to catch at least one professional hockey game each season.

I was born in Nashville, TN and raised in northeastern PA. I began playing hockey in high school and continued to play through college at the U.S. Naval Academy. My coaching experience spans 10 years across various programs including Brunswick, ME, Tampa, FL, and two previous stints on the MS Gulf Coast (Junior Surge and Aces). Hockey is the greatest sport on the planet and by far the #1 sport in the Slaff family. We are die-hard New York Islanders fans and we enjoy watching all the hockey we can (except for the NY Rangers...because they are super gross). This will be my first year with the Junior Sea Wolves. I'm very excited to be back and look forward to continuing to help grow and develop youth hockey on the MS Gulf Coast. Go Sea Wolves...HOWL YEAH!
